# Chowdown > Chowdown keeps a person's recipes as plain Cooklang text files in their own Google Drive, and lets them search, filter, scale and cook from them. An AI assistant (ChatGPT, Claude or any MCP client) can be connected to browse and add recipes. Chowdown is a single-page-style web app at https://chowdown.apps.mrida.ng. Almost every page is private to the signed-in person, so only the pages below are meant to be read by crawlers. ## Public pages - [Home](https://chowdown.apps.mrida.ng/): what Chowdown is and how to sign in with Google. - [Privacy](https://chowdown.apps.mrida.ng/privacy): what is stored, what is asked of Google, and what stays in the person's Drive. ## For assistants (MCP) - MCP server (Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1): https://chowdown.apps.mrida.ng/mcp - Protected resource metadata: https://chowdown.apps.mrida.ng/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp - Authorization server metadata: https://chowdown.apps.mrida.ng/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server - Tools: the connector lists its own tools. They cover browsing and searching recipes, finding recipes from the ingredients someone has, importing a recipe from a page, adding notes, tagging and favouriting. - Add the address as a connector, sign in with Google and approve. No key to copy. ## Optional - [Security contact](https://chowdown.apps.mrida.ng/.well-known/security.txt): how to report a vulnerability. - [Security policy](https://chowdown.apps.mrida.ng/security-policy.txt): what to expect when you do. - [Cooklang](https://cooklang.org/docs/spec/): the plain-text recipe format Chowdown reads and writes.
